Zabeel Palace

Zabeel Palace is de thuisbasis van Shaikh Rashid, de voormalige premier van de VAE. Het is gebouwd in het Zabeel-gebied, dat voorheen gewoon kaal land was bedekt met zand. Tegenwoordig wordt het omringd door alle blitse gebouwen die de skyline van Dubai vormen. Een ander Zabeel-paleis is ook in de buurt opgedoken, maar het is het oude paleis dat vol met charmes is. Dit paleis werd ergens in de jaren 1960 gebouwd en werd tot de jaren 90 als residentie gebruikt. Het ontwerp van dit paleis is het idee van Otto Bulart die ook de Clock Tower in Dubai heeft ontworpen.

This was an amazing tour stopping at all the tourist destination points and a few extras were also shown. Our driver; Sadik, was amazing. Giving extra details and information. He went above and beyond offering ample time at our stops. Water was continually offered and available. Sadik been sent the extra mile and dropped us off at a different point and made sure we didn’t get lost. Thankyou Sadik you made this tour extra special.

Our Private Vehicle Sightseeing Tour was excellent.. we got to see all the major areas in Dubai and our tour guide, Mustafa was very friendly and informative. He drove to many different areas in Dubai and gave us time to walk around and take photos. He did bring us to a art studio where they try to sell you expensive artwork but we just listened and we were respectful.

Great Tour of Dubai

We were in Dubai in December 2022 and booked this tour with Lalit. We were in Dubai for a short stay, less than one week, and he helped us maximize our time in this fantastic city. We started with a sight-seeing tour with a private car and it was an amazing way to see the city and get oriented. Our driver told us a lot about the stops on our journey and also about buildings and sights we saw en route from one destination to the next. It was extremely personalized and tailored to our interests. I would recommend this sightseeing tour to everyone. We could never have self-navigated ourselves so effectively on transit or a hop on/hop off bus.

Excellent First Hand Experience of Richest City in the World

Hello Readers, this half day city tour was part of our Tour Package organised by Kunal Bhuva from The Globe Holidays, Mumbai.
Our driver and guide picked us from hotel and started touring the city. He was explaining the history of UAE and importance of multiple places. Firstly we stopped at Meena Bazaar to Buy Almonds, Local Chocolates and Halwa(confectionery).
Then we headed to Jumerah Beach and spent time viewing World’s only 7 Star Hotel Burj Al Arab Hotel. Then we went to Marina Bay. Now here is the place i salute the engineering marvel. Entire sea was flattened and huge city is building. All skyscrapers.
Then we went to Atlantis Hotel View Point. Needless to say, i could see Climax song from Happy New Year movie.

Great to be in the hands of a real expert

My tip for future tourists is to try and ensure that Major is your driver. He is excellent. We booked a four hour city tour. He arrived punctually in a clean SUV. He could see from the beginning that my wife needed a little support getting in and out of the SUV and he provided that support with due care and attention. He then took us to all the sites we wished to see and parked in the best locations to ease the walking burden. He then used my phone to take excellent pictures of both of us particularly in the Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa. He did all this with such good grace that it was a pleasure to be in his company. If we had more time on this trip we would have gone with him to Abu Dhabi to round off the experience. Next time definitely.

The experience was overall good. The guide was kind enough to wait for us even though we were late and also he took us to the attractions which were not in the list.

The only con of this trip was the guide never left his car to show us the attractions. He was more like a driver and dropped us to the places and asked us to go and explore by ourselves. It would be great if he could walk along us and help us as we were first time visitors.
