朝のアドベンチャー・サファリは、ホテルでのお出迎えと砂漠地帯までの短時間のドライブで始まります。砂漠の近くに着いたら、ガイドがタイヤの空気を抜き砂丘でのスリリングなデューン・バッシング・ライドが幕を開けます。その後、ATVまたはキャメル・ライドのいずれかを選択できます。

had a great morning in the desert doing dune bashing, sand boarding, camel ride and quad bikes. would 100% recommend, our guide was mohammad who was excellent with us, took amazing pictures, told us about all the places we drove by and all round nice guy!

Good wee trip for all ages

We organised this through GetMyGuide. A private pickup from the hotel with one other family in a big LandCruiser , and the drive itself is interesting as it leaves Dubai and heads inland on roads through increasingly desert areas. Takes less than an hour to get there.
You arrive at essentially a large quad bike centre, which had a run to one side where there are a couple of camels. We had a short , no more than 10-minute ride on those in pairs, which was an experience, then headed over to the quads. Our guide was quick to ensure we all had fresh cold water available to sip throughout.
We each had a 250cc quad bike, doing speeds of up to 33mph on the sand, and were given around 45 mins on them out on a fenced in area of the desert dunes. It was really good fun, although as with all quads, jet-skis etc there’s only so much you can do so after 20mins could probably have happily taken them back.
The guide then took us a 10 minute drive along in the LandCruiser to a row of small shops, behind which was a large area of sand dunes. He followed another couple of LandCruisers up into the dunes, sliding and drifting up and down them at a fair pace with Arab dance tunes on at full volume! A good laugh and there Andre nice views out over the desert.. Would have been great to have a wee shot though to be honest, as after a while of doing that he was certainly having more fun than me!
We paused to slide down the dunes on snowboards, which was great fun but even the short walk back up the dune is heavy going in the unrelenting heat. A guy then appeared from nowhere with a hooded falcon, encouraging you to take photos with it on you, then of course expected payment.
More water then we headed back to the shops area where they blast the sand off you with an airline. It’s a good wee half-day experience, and our guide was really friendly and helpful.
