Apprenez à faire voler un faucon lors d’une expérience de fauconnerie de 5 heures en petit groupe au départ de Dubaï. Avec un groupe, rendez-vous à la Réserve de Conservation du Désert de Dubaï en 4x4 et apprenez-en plus sur la passion pour la fauconnerie des Émirats Arabes Unis. Après une traversée de la faune et la flore de la réserve jusqu’à un camp de chasse, à tour de rôle avec les autres membres du groupe, faites voler un oiseau depuis votre gant et assistez aux démonstrations de formation. Si vous voulez une expérience encore plus spéciale, optez pour un surclassement et dégustez ensuite un petit déjeuner à l’Al Maha Desert Resort. Le nombre de participants est limité à 12 personnes, afin de garantir une expérience intime.

Best time in Dubai, unbeatable, amazing experience.

My hubby and I had the BEST experience in Dubai, an absolute amazing experience. From the first communication right through to a follow up email, this company is nothing but professional.
To start our falconer Cesar on time picked us up at the hotel in a beauthiful Jeep with a surprise in the back to met us. Khaimah, a magnificent eagle sitting on his perch, just so gorgeous and peaceful. What a nice touch.
We spent such an amazing time in the desert with Cesar and his friend Rahim, both passionate Falconers, full of amazing information not only on the birds but life in Dubai. We had Arabic coffee and dates while they got the birds ready on a beautiful carpet in the middle of the desert!! It was great only hubby and I which enhanced our visit.
You can see how much they care for their birds.
To watch, listen and learn, then to do it ourselves, a once in a lifetime opportunity.

This was THE BEST experience we had and can not recommend highly enough.
To top off the best morning we then had the best breakfast at the desert oasis Al Maha desert resort and spa. If we had of known of this place we would have definitely spent a couple of nights there. Breakfast was delicious, what ever you wanted. What a way to top of our morning.
Finally a BIG THANK YOU to Cesar and Rahim for giving us an unforgettable day in the Dubai Desert with the wonderful birds of prey.
Do yourself a favour, spend that little extra on this tour and book it, you wont be sorry, especially if your the only ones out there!!

This was an incredible experience ! Loads of hands on experience, the falcons & owl’s & especially the eagle we’re spectacular ! The trainers were very informative & we learnt a lot ! They were also amazing photographers & took some wonderful photos for us !

This is a fantastic experience for any traveller visiting Dubai, and as a longtime resident I especially appreciated findiing such a fresh and unique activity.

We were picked up from our accommodation by Sarab at 06:00 and reached the Reservation in time for sunrise -- a truly majestic view, with sights of oryx and gazelles visible on the horizon. Sarab was immensely personable, very knowledgeable about falconry and the local wildlife. On arrival, we were treated to traditional Arabic coffee served with dates, before Sarab and his colleague Mohammad began the show -- including a falcon, a Harris Hawk, a barn owl, an eagle owl, and a Greater spotted eagle.

We then learned how to call and fly them ourselves. This was marvellous and we both quickly felt comfortable with the birds. Plus, Sarab very kindly acted as our personal photographer, snapping large numbers of photos and videos for each of us to capture the best light and the best moments. This was a truly fantastic experience for my partner and I, who had the trip entirely to ourselves! I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting a slightly different experience in Dubai.

The highlight of our trip, private falconry in outstanding natural beauty

The reviews don't lie, this is a world-leading experience - one of the best we've had anywhere, in any country.

We decided to book a tour direct with Royal Shaheen because we have a three year old and other tour operators we researched had too many 'other add-ons' to their desert tours that didn't suit a three year old (such as dune bashing, camel rides, etc.). We are SO pleased we did!

We were picked up from our hotel early in the morning with two birds in the car - not in cages either, simply sitting, one eagle (Khyber) in the back space, another small mixed breed (Gyrm) sitting on the top of the handbreak box. Our kids were delighted with the up close experience (as were we). There were more birds in the desert waiting when we arrived, five in total including an owl, peregrine and a hawk.

We didn't book a private tour but got one. We passed other tour operators on the way out to the desert who were all full to the brim... 20+ participants. Ours was just the four of us and two handlers.

I would highly recommend the experience to anyone for the up close and personal interactions with multiple birds, exposure and one-on-one conversation with experienced handlers, and thoughtfulness of design of the overall experience: it takes just the right amount of time, happens in outstanding natural beauty and without another person to be seen.

Fantastic morning in the dessert

Early pick up by guide and falconer Dylan, who willingly shared a lot of information. We saw camel training in the dark en route, saw and hold fantastic birds of pray in action. Afterwards a delicious breakfast at al Maha.
Best day in Dubai ever! Go for it!

Outstanding experience!

My husband and I did the Falcon Safari in October 2022 and it was outstanding. We were picked up at 5.00 am by our Driver/Guide and driven out to the Desert stopping at the Camel Racetrack to see the Camel Trainers waiting with their camels to do their track work (thousands of camels!) before watching the sunrise over the sand dunes. We then had a marvellous experience with 5 birds - an Eagle, a Falcon, a Hawk and two gorgeous owls. We were given information on how the birds are looked after, trained and had the most incredible experience of handling the birds. The birds were treated with a great deal of respect and care and the genuine love of our guide (Khan and his assistance) were clearly demonstrated.
This is not the cheapest activity you can do in Dubai but was worth the money to get a feel of Arabian culture and history and to see these magnificent animals. Highly, highly recommended.
