I will show you the unique side of old Dubai starting from Al Seef area which is the beautiful area in old dubai that included a lot of shops and restaurant to Al Fahidi District exploring the oldest houses of dubai . We olso learn more about the dubai currency by free access to Coins museum. You will have some knowledge about the Emirati lifestyle by visiting the oldest museum of dubai " Dubai museum ".then we will pass by the Coffee Museum having information about the arabic coffe. After that we go through the Arabian Tea House which is the famous restaurant that provides the local food.
We will visit the 3 typical Souks "Market" in dubai which are Grand Souk, Spice Souk and Gold Souk.
We cross to the another side of old dubai by the Traditional Boat Ride " Abra" to the Spice and the Gold market which is one of the largest market in the world .

Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood

The traditional style of life that was prevalent in Dubai from the mid 19th century till the 1970s is reflected at Al-Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, where buildings with high air towers (Barajeel), built with traditional building materials such as stone, gypsum, teak, sandal wood, fronds and palm wood are aligned side by side, separated by alleys, pathways and public squares, which give the district a natural and beautiful diversity. This district, owing to its strategic location at Dubai Creek (Khor Dubai), played an important role in managing Dubai and organising its commercial relations overseas. Moreover, it is still the district adjacent to His Highness Monarch of Dubai's divan.

I was on my own for this tour as the others had cancelled due to the heat..so it was basically a private tour.

This is an amazing tour. Mahmoud was very knowledgeable and informative about the history of Dubai. I was able to ask questions and take photots at every sight we stopped at.

He was also very patient when I was shopping (which I done a lot of)
I would definitely recommend.

He did a great tour explaining very well his history and showed us the different angles of old dubai! The food was great specially The SHAWARMA. Abdalla was a great guide - he was very attentive to every single participant and made sure everyone felt comfortable. He was very knowledgeable not only about the historical facts of the city but also the current trends. He was also very funny and his humor made the trip even more enjoyable- time passed so quickly!
And hear the addition of the other people from the group. I loved it, that he individualized the trip based on our interests he would wait long and some places and skip other places that we were not interested in besides that we never felt like somebody would rip us off, and I loved the whole experience.

Would have like a little bit more info about the fort but information about Dubai and the general UEA was really interesting!
